Ingredients

This caramel cake pops recipe is easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. You’ll need:

  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts, optional

Instructions

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water until it’s well combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Once done, allow the cake to cool completely. Once the cake has cooled, break it up into small pieces and place them into a large bowl.

Add the caramel sauce to the bowl with the cake and mix until it’s fully combined. Using a spoon or your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 20 minutes. This will help the cake pops keep their shape.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips. To prevent the chocolate from burning, microwave it in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval. Once the chocolate is fully melted, remove the cake pops from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate. You can also use a spoon to spoon the melted chocolate over the pops. Place the cake pops onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 15 minutes for the chocolate to set.

Once the chocolate is set, the cake pops are ready to be eaten. Enjoy!
