Ingredients

To make this delicious Valentine's Day cake pops, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 box of your favorite cake mix
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of your favorite sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • Assorted food coloring

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, water, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer until well combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow cake to cool completely. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl. Add melted butter and mix together until combined. Divide the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 tablespoons in size. Place the balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips and heavy cream together. Once melted, remove from heat. Dip the cake balls one at a time into the melted white chocolate. Place the dipped cake pops onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with your desired sprinkles and allow to cool completely.

Once the cake pops have cooled, melt additional white chocolate in separate bowls. Divide the chocolate into different bowls and add food colorings of your choice. Dip the cake pops into the colored chocolates, one at a time. Place back onto the baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with additional sprinkles.

Allow the cake pops to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
