Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a 13x9 inch baking pan with nonstick baking spray.

2. Prepare cake mix according to the instructions on the box and pour into prepared baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

3. Let the cake cool completely before crumbling it into a large bowl.

4. Add one can of frosting to the crumbled cake and mix together until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and pliable.

5. Take about two tablespoons of the cake mixture and roll into a ball. Place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining cake mixture. The cake balls should be about 1 inch in diameter.

6. Place the baking sheet into the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the cake balls are firm.

7. Meanwhile, melt the white candy melts according to the instructions on the package. Dip the end of a pretzel stick into the melted candy melts and then insert it into the top of the cake ball. Repeat with the remaining cake balls.

8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts and then place back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining cake pops.

9. Immediately add two candy eyes to each cake pop and then place a piece of red licorice onto the top of each cake pop for the reindeer’s antlers. Allow the cake pops to set before serving.
