Ingredients
For this recipe, you will need:
- 1 cup of leftover cake crumbs
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Coloured sugar sprinkles, optional
Instructions
First, you will need to break up the leftover cake into crumbs. You can do this by hand, or use a food processor. Once you have the desired texture, place the cake crumbs into a large bowl.
Next, add the melted butter, icing sugar, chocolate chips and vanilla extract to the bowl. Use a spoon to mix the ingredients together until combined.
Now it's time to get your hands dirty! Use your hands to form the mixture into small balls. Place the cake pops onto a baking tray, and freeze for 15 minutes.
Once the cake pops are frozen, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Take the cake pops out of the freezer, and dip them into the melted chocolate. Place them back onto the baking tray and add some coloured sugar sprinkles, if desired.
Finally, place them in the fridge to set for at least an hour. After that, you'll have delicious cake pops ready to enjoy!
